I-7188EX-MTCP Modbus/TCP Embedded Controller

When you buy an I-7188EX-MTCP controller, it already includes the default Modbus firmware installed into its Flash memory. The default firmware has the following features:

• Converter single Modbus/TCP to multi Modbus/RTU
  The I-7188EX-MTCP is a Modbus/TCP gateway. It can easily upgrade many Modbus/RTU devices to have Ethernet communication ability.
• Supports VxComm technique for each of the controllers COM ports
  If your serial devices does not support Modbus/RTU, you can still access these devices by installing the VxComm driver on the host PC and assigning a COM port number to link to the remote COM port (of I-7188EX-MTCP). After that, serial clients can access these remote serial devices via standard RS-232 functions.
• Allows multi-client (or master) computer access simultaneously
• Firmware is modifiable
  The Modbus SDK is provided which allows users to develop their own custom Modbus firmware.
